  19.         I have noticed an incredible speed increase, both in reading and
  20. writing.  Directory access is amazing.  The reason I got it is for the Crash
  21. protection, my old drive was constantly getting invalidated by crashes in the
  22. middle of writes, by IBROWSE!!.  AFS doesn't do that.  The only disadvantage so
  23. far is that if you delete a file, it is gone for ever.  Disksalv doesn't like
  24. it.  But then again, Disksalv never really worked for me anyway.  Backups are
  25. still a good idea.
