- I have noticed an incredible speed increase, both in reading and
- writing. Directory access is amazing. The reason I got it is for the Crash
- protection, my old drive was constantly getting invalidated by crashes in the
- middle of writes, by IBROWSE!!. AFS doesn't do that. The only disadvantage so
- far is that if you delete a file, it is gone for ever. Disksalv doesn't like
- it. But then again, Disksalv never really worked for me anyway. Backups are
- still a good idea.
